Email Services: Send From Your Own Domain
What Email Services controls
Email Services decides how email leaves your workspace. Until you set up your own, mail goes out on the shared platform domain. You can send on a dedicated branded domain that SmartlyQ runs for you, or bring your own mail server.
Where to find it
Open Settings and choose Email Services. The Sending tab holds the two options; the other tabs cover reply routing, analytics, deliverability and postmaster tools.
Add a dedicated sending domain (recommended)
A dedicated domain gives you the best deliverability and tracks opens, clicks and bounces. Click Add Domain, enter a subdomain such as mg.yourbrand.com, add the DNS records it gives you, and verify. Once verified, your mail is sent and signed as your own brand.
Or bring your own mail server
Prefer to use a provider you already pay for? Choose Your own SMTP to send through your own mail server with your own credentials. There are no platform sending charges on this route.
